Escape Room is a thriller, mystery, horror, action, and Sci-Fi movie directed by Adam Robitel and written by Bragi F. Schut, and Maria Melnik. The movie stars Deborah Ann Woll as Amanda, Taylor Russell as Zoey, Logan Miller as Ben, Tyler Labine as Mike, Nik Dodani as Danny and Jay Ellis as Jason.

Escape room starts off with six people who receive a mysterious invitation to try out a brand new escape room experience. Each one of the contestants is promised $10,000 if they can successfully escape the room. At first they were sent to a waiting room but what they didn’t know is that the waiting room was actually the escape room. After discovering that they were in the escape room, they start searching for clues, which is when they found disturbing secrets about each other.

The story behind the movie was really good. Although it was somewhat of a horror movie it didn’t have a lot of blood or gore images. The ending was actually very surprising, too. The plot twist and cliffhanger endings set up for a sequel that will hopefully be made. Overall, if you’re looking for a teen friendly movie and like a few illogical plot points, then Escape Room is the movie for you.
