On May 28th in Dinwiddie, Virginia a church van got rear ended causing the van to flip, killing the 4 passengers and leaving seven others critically injured.

The church van was pulling into a church parking lot when a Ford F-450 truck carrying scrap metal failed to stop in time, causing them to rear end the van. The van flipped several times and the truck hit the guardrail, resulting in the driver getting injured, too.

Three of the adults in the van were flown to a hospital with serious life threatening injuries. Four others were transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital with less life threatening injuries. The other four were pronounced dead on the scene of the roll over.
