Recently, several shootings have taken place in and around Springfield, Massachusetts. On Monday, June 17, police were called to investigate an area where people claimed they heard at least a dozen shots being fired. In the doorway of a home on Belmont Street in the Lower Forest Park neighborhood, 12 shell casings were reportedly found. Currently, police are getting statements from other residents of the area, but no arrests or leads have been announced. It is believed that nobody was harmed in this incident, as no victims were located.
